InformaCast Personal Duress package will enable enterprises to optimize employee safety plans.
FREMONT, CA: “Whether it’s teachers in a classroom, nurses helping patients, or lone workers in manufacturing, the InformaCast Personal Duress Package offers the flexibility to enhance worker safety regardless of industry,” said Shain. “Being able to provide single-touch solutions that deliver vital information to those that can help will create safer working environments by giving organizations the ability to better fulfill their duty of care.”
Singlewire Software, one of the leaders in providing mass notification technology, introduces the InformaCast Personal Duress Package, which facilitates organizations to enable employee protection through a panic button mode.

“With workplace violence on the rise, the need for personalized safety solutions has never been more critical,” said Paul Shain, president, and CEO of Singlewire Software. “This new package provides organizations with a way to deliver tools their staff can use to request help at a moment’s notice.”
The package provides two features to send alerts for help. The first is with a pre-configured button in the InformaCast app, and the second is through integrating contact.io wearable devices. In both, the case user is provided with guidance within the app. By pressing the alert button installed in the app, the user can seek help. The safety authorities will be able to see the user name and location and can act promptly. Eventually, this year, functionality will be introduced to the package that will allow alarms initiated via the mobile app or the Kontakt.io badge to communicate information to 911 dispatchers, meeting Alyssa's Law standards and allowing for improved coordination between an organization and first responders.
